Use the link below to access the national data buoy center. Zoom in on the map to locate the buoy you would like to see data for. Click a YELLOW buoy marker, then click "view details" in the lower right hand corner of the map. The RED buoy markers are old inactive buoys and contain no current data. Different buoys contain different data, they provide current wind speed and direction, wave height and period, water temperature ect.

Use the link below to see the NWS marine zone forecast out past 60 NM. This forecast covers NE Gulf N of 26N E of 87W and is a synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico. It covers a much broader area than the previous two NWS reports.
